Neutral Peering Days

15 Sep 2016 - 16 Sep 2016

The Hague, Netherlands

Neutral Peering Days 2016 will take place on 15-16 September, in The Hague, Netherlands.

The event is organised on a yearly basis by NL-ix, and attendance is free of charge. It brings together representatives of organisations with one or more Autonomous System (AS) numbers that actively exchange traffic, with the aim to exchange information and ideas on their activities.

Under the theme 'Managing Continuous Growth', the Neutral Peering Days will feature discussions on the implications of the projected growth of Internet traffic and the need to increase network capacities and employ new technologies to cope with this growth. The programme of the two-day event will include presentations by Akamai, Facebook, Hurricane Electric, i3D, Twitch, and Nederland ICT.
