The fourth edition of the Middle East DNS Forum will be held on 22-23 May, in Cairo, Egypt. The event will be co-organised by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Internet Society, and hosted by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority of Egypt.

The Middle East DNS Forum aims to build bridges between interested parties in the region and world experts in the field, share experiences and best practices, and update the audience on the domain name industry at a global level and emerging business opportunities.

The event will feature discussions on issues such as new generic top-level domains (gTLDs), Domain Name System (DNS) abuse, universal acceptance, cybersecurity, and DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC). It will bring together registries of country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) and gTLDs, registrars and resellers of domain names, DNS experts, gTLD applicants, regional TLD organisations, information technology and Internet companies, and legal and intellectual property firms, among others.
