The 28th meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC), in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Group (LACNOG), will be held on 18–22 September, in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The event, which will celebrate LACNIC’s 15th anniversary, will bring together members from the LACNIC community, public sector representatives, Internet service providers (ISPs), and other stakeholders with interests in the Internet in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event comprises one day of technical training workshops on new technologies, Internet security, and IPv6 deployment, in addition to four days of seminars, keynote presentations, and panel discussions with international experts. A public policy forum will also be convened.
