The 8th annual Internet of Things European Summit will be held on 19-20 April 2017, in Brussels, Belgium.
Hosted by Forum Europe, the summit will focus on the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technology trends and critical policy issues, such as: security, privacy, data innovations, connectivity, and the impact of the IoT on business models and Europe's workforce. The two-day programme will feature discussions on a broad range of topics: transatlantic cooperation for the IoT; smart cities and their future in Europe; strengthening trust, personal data protection, and privacy; securing the IoT; standards and convergence; IoT and the future of work; and new network technologies for the future IoT.
The even will bring together representatives from policy and business communities, including EU institutions, multinationals, startups, press, and academia.
