International Conference on the Economics of Innovation

The International Conference on the Economics of Innovation will be held on 4–6 September 2017, in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is being organised by NCCR Chemical Biology, in partnership with the Swiss National Science Foundation (FNSNF), the Brocher Foundation, the University of Geneva, and the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne.

The event will bring together economists, research scientists, scientists involved in policy and funding, experts from tech transfer and R&D in industry, and venture capitalists to review advances in the economic theory of innovation. Speakers will cover topics such as entrepreneurial network, public funding of basic research, technology diffusion, international technology, and research spillovers or the relation between industry and academic spillover.
