ICANN: CCWG-Accountability WS2 Final Report

The Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability (CCWG-Accountability) is seeking community input on the final report from its Work Stream 2 (WS2). 

The CCWG-Accountability WS2 final report is a compilation of eight sub-reports generated through individual sub-groups of the CCWG-Accountability, on the following topics:

• Diversity
• Guidelines for standards of conduct presumed to be in good faith associated with exercising removal of individual ICANN Board Directors (Guidelines for Good Faith).
• Human Rights Framework of Interpretation (HR-FOI)
• Jurisdiction
• Ombuds 
• Supporting Organization/Advisory Committee (SO/AC) Accountability
• Staff Accountability
• Transparency

As these eight sub-reports have already been subject to public comment, input is now sought only on possible incompatibilities between the various recommendationc included in the final report.

Submitted comments will be reviewed by the CCWG-Accountability, with a view to determine whether the WS2 final report needs to be amended. If no significant changes to the report are needed, the CCWG-Accountability will submit it to the Chartering Organizations for endorsement and then to the ICANN Board for consideration and adoption.​
