Harmonisation of Terminology in Standards for Quantum Technology

The International Communication Union will be holding its 4th webinar on Harmonisation of Terminology in Standards for Quantum Technology on 23 June 2021.

This webinar will explore motivations to harmonize the use of certain terminology, even consider where it is not likely to be of benefit. The experts will discuss areas where terminology is likely to cut across different quantum technologies and where consistency with standards from other fields is anticipated to be important. The discussion will also look to the future and consider whether terminology choices are expected to restrict the application of standards to new technologies and future generations of quantum systems.

Participation is open to anyone interested, including the individuals who are also members of international, regional, and national organizations.
