G20 Leaders’ Summit 2018

The Group of Twenty (G20) Leader's Summit will take place from 30 November to 1 December 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  

The G20 is a leading forum of the world's major economies that seeks to develop global policies to address today’s most pressing challenges. The G20 is made up of 19 countries and the European Union. Under the theme, 'Building Consensus for Fair and Sustainable Development', the summit will focus on three issues as identified through Argentina's presidency, namely:

  • the future of work: unleasing people's potential
  • infrastructure for development: mobilising private resources to reduce the infrastructure deficit
  • a sustainable food future: improving soils and increasing productivity
