The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, in collaboration with The Economist, will organise a panel discussion on 'The future of work', on 2 November 2017, in Geneva, Switzerland.
During the event, discussions will revolve around the question: Is education a future-proof route to stable employment? Panellists will also look at the current environment, characterised by rapid technological changes and advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence, and how these influence the world of work (with many skills becoming obsolete and others growing in economic importance).
The debate will be moderated by Ryan Avent, Senior Editor and Economics Columnist, The Economist, and will feature Richard Baldwin, Professor of International Economics, The Graduate Institute, among other panellists.
