The European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Commission will organise a joint conference - 'Into the future: Europe's digital integrated market', on 31 January, at the ECB Main building, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The programme of the conference will include several keynotes and panels on: capital markets union and post-trade integration: where are we heading?; A history of the future - the world in 2025; Digital transformation: Europe's integrated market of tomorrow; The Eurosystem integration agenda: unleashing the potential of a stronger European market; Cybercrime - prepared for the unknown; and Innovation and regulation in the world of tomorrow. One of the main topics of discussions will be the impact of digital technologies on financial markets and on the payment and post-trade industry, and related cybersecurity and cyber resilience implications.
