Freedom not Fear 2016

Freedom not Fear 2016 will be held on 14-17 October, in Brussels, Belgium.

The event is organised by a coalition of more than 150 civil society organisations, with support from various other actors such as political parties, professional associations, trade unions, and freedom activists. During the four-day meeting, participants will discuss issues related to freedoms in the digitised world, and plan activities aimed to advocate for the protection and promotion of human rights in the digital space. 

Topics featuring on the programme of the event include: privacy and data protection, freedom of expression, data retention,  surveillance, network neutrality, copyright, etc.
