European Big Data Value Forum

The European Big Data Value Forum will be held on 21–23 November 2017, in Versailles, France. The event is organised by the Big Data Value Association and the European Commission.

The Forum will focus on the topic of 'Trusted AI in Smart Industry' and will explore issues such as transparency and accountability of data-based algorithmic systems, and their importance for trust and reliability of digital services. The event will also include keynotes and presentations on cutting-edge industrial applications of big data technologies, innovative business cases of the data economy, future visions, and insights on EU policy-making and research, development, and innovation funding in this area. 

The overall aim of the event is to contribute to driving data-driven innovation further and strengthening the European data economy, as well as enhancing its position worldwide. It will serve as a platform and as a business and technology orientes showcase and exhibition space for the Big data Value 'Public Private Partnership' established by the European Commission and European data stakeholders.
