Eastern European DNS Forum 2017

The second edition of the Eastern European Domain Name System Forum (EE DNS) will be held on 12–13 October 2017, in Minsk, Belarus.  The event is co-hosted by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and Hoster.by (the registry for .by).

The forum will feature discussions and sharing of experiences and good practices on existing and new technologies in the domain name industry, as well as business opportunities for market players. It will bring together domain registries, domain name registrar, technical experts, companies providing legal, technological or business advices in the field of domain names, representatives of non-governmental organisations, and government authorities.

Specific topics to be addressed during the meeting include emerging threats to DNS, DNS abuse, computer emergency response teams, solutions for protecting against malicious software, international cooperation, DNS technologies and the Internet of Things, and Internationalised Domain Names.
