The Digitising European Industry (DEI) Stakeholder Forum will be held on 27–28 March 2018 in Paris, France. The forum is jointly organised by the European Commission and the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The second edition of this annual event aims to bring together all actors involved in the digital value chain, such as EU institutions, member states, national initiatives, industry representatives, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), academia, and digital innovation hubs. The forum will stimulate the exchange of experiences and best practices, and will discuss the implementation of the DEI initiative.
The forum will feature an official opening on 27 March by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Agenda and Society, and Delphine Gény-Stephann, Minister of State in the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. The opening will be followed by high-level policy presentations and plenary discussions. On 28 March, there will be parallel workshops on digital innovation hubs, public-private partnerships, financing instruments for digitisation, digital skills, and rolling out of digital industrial platforms.
Participants will have an opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of European policy on digitalisation, and learn about the latest developments.
