Digital Assembly 2016

The Digital Assembly 2016 will take place on 28-29 September 2016, in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The event, co-organised by the European Commission and the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will bring together high-level officials from EU member states and European institutions, policy-makers, representatives of industry and academia, start-ups, and non-governmental organisations. 

The Assembly will feature discussions and exchange of ideas on issues related to the European digital policy. The programme will include a plenary session containing keynote and inspirational speeches, a CEO's debate, and six parallel workshops that will cover topics such as: digitising the European industry, e-commerce and online platforms, improving access to content, connected and automated driving, the Internet of Things, and privacy and data protection.
