The 13th meeting of the Caribbean Internet Governance Forum will be held on 21–23 August 2017, in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

The event, which will bring together Internet governance (IG) stakeholders from across the Caribbean region, will focus on the following objectives: facilitate open discussions on current Internet governance matters of global interest (such as ICANN related matters, net neutrality, privacy and security, etc.); review progress, strategies, and approaches for building and/or strengthening national multistakeholder structures to enhance IG capacity, expertise and action in the Caribbean; explore and spread awareness on opportunities for Caribbean growth through the Internet economy; and build local capacity in IG to enable, maintain and strengthen effective Caribbean participation and representation at global Internet governance fora.
