Efforts to counter the spread of online extremism have picked up, as countries and the Internet industry focus on new measures. The debate on net neutrality, especially in the USA, has also picked up. Uber suffered a blow with new restrictions in several countries, and new rulings confirming that drivers are to be considered employees, while governments continue to impose new taxes on the Internet market.
