The 2017 annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) will be held on 26–29 July, in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will be bosted by Chulalongkorn University and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand.
The main theme of the meeting will be 'Ensuring an inclusive and sustainable Development in Asia-Pacific: A regional agenda for Internet governance'. The programme for the event will be built following a call for workshop proposals, open until 15 March.
The APrIGF serves as a platform for discussion, exchange, and collaboration at a regional level, and also where possible to aggregate national IGF discussions, ultimately advance the Internet governance development in the Asia Pacific region.
