The 2017 annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT) will be held on 20 February–2 March 2017, in Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam.

The event, organised by the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), will be structured in two main parts: workshops on 20–24 February, and a conference on 27 February–2 March.

The conference programme will include seminars, workshops, tutorials, conference sessions birds-of-a-feather, and other forums, with the goal of spreading and sharing the knowldge required to operate the Internet within the Asia Pacific region. Some of the topics to be tackled within the many sessions are the domain name system (DNS) and DNS security extensions (DNSSEC); network management and security; virtualisation and cloud; Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6); data gathering and analysis; community wireless mesh networking; and Internet of Things (IoT).

The event will bring together Internet engineers, operators, reserachers, service providers, users, and policy communities from over 50 countries.
