The AFRINIC 28 meeting will take place on 5–11 May 2018 in Dakar, Senegal. AFRINIC 28 will be held alongside the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2018 and the African Network Operators' Group (AfNOG) 2018 workshop, and is being hosted through the collaboration of the Senegalese Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications, Posts and Digital Economy, and the Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Post of Senegal.
The meeting will gather Internet Service Providers (ISPs), network operators, and other interested parties, to discuss policies and procedures for the distribution and management of Internet number resources in the African region. The meeting will also include tutorials and workshops on topics such as IPv6, Internet number resource management (INRM), and cybersecurity among others.
