The Africa Cyber Defence Summit (Cyfence Africa) will be held on 9-10 July 2018, in Nairobi, Kenya. The event is co-organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology of Kenya, the International Telecommunication Union, the African Union, Nabesa, and the Africa Cyberspace Network.
The summit is aimed at promoting cybersecurity at regional level, facilitating partnerships for the development of local cybersecurity solutions and services, fostering collaboration between countries and between stakehokders on cybersecurity issues, building capacities for strategic, technical, and operational elements of cybersecurity, and initiate a dialogue towards the setting up of a regional cybersecurity framework.
Stakeholders from Africa and from around the world will come together to discuss cybersecurity issues and explore ways to enhance continental cybersecurity strategies and promote cybersecurity-oriented businesses.
