11th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum

The 11th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum will be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago 26-28 August 2015.

The CIGF has been established to engage stakeholders in the development of policies and structures for Internet governance (IG) in the Caribbean, and is hosted by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU).  The CTU’s work in this regard is being undertaken at the request of the CARICOM Secretariat which has had lead responsibility for the coordination of policy matters related to information and communications technology (ICT) in the region.
