Warsaw, Poland

The 13th International Conference on 'Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online' will be held in Warsaw, Poland, on 17-18 September 2019.

The conference is being co-organised by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres, which have been working together within the European Commission's Connecting Europe Facility Program, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The main partner of the event is the Orange Foundation.

The conference will be held within the framework of the ITU European Regional Initiative EUR4 'Enhancing Trust and Confidence in the Use of ICTs', adopted by WTDC-17 in Buenos Aires.

Addressing a broad spectrum of issues related to the safety of children and young people on the Internet and targetting an audience of representatives of the education sector, NGOs, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, and Internet content service providers, the conference aims to raise awareness about the new challenges and opportunities in fighting online threats as well as to popularise best practices across different sectors.
